A picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has surfaced on the internet in which he can be seen holding a placard. Incidentally, PM’s name has also been spelt wrong in the object he is holding with coronavirus image embossed in it.
The caption in Hindi reads: “10 लाख से अधिक भारत मे corona के सब्सक्राइबर होने पर यूट्यूब के तरफ से silver Button दिया गया.”
(Translation: “Silver Button was given by YouTube on the subscription of corona in more than 10 lakhs India”)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found it to be FAKE.
On putting the picture through a Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture which is NOT of PM Modi.
The man in the original picture is Gaur Gopal Das who is an International Life Coach, Author and Motivational Strategist. Das had shared the above picture on this official LinkedIn profile two-years ago when he received the Gold Play Button from YouTube for crossing 1 million subscribers.
In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that PM Modi’s face was superimposed over Gaur Gopal Das’s face and other elements were adding using photo editing software.
In conclusion, the above fact check proves that the picture in question is FAKE.
