After Chinese President Xi Jinping’s recent visit to India, a picture is doing rounds on social media in which Jinping can be seen with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. In the picture, the Chinese President can be seen in an Indian attire wearing a white kurta and a Dhoti.

Several other users shared the same picture on Facebook.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found it to be FAKE.
On putting the picture through a simple Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture in which Chinese President Xi Jinping is actually wearing a black suit and not the dhoti-kurta.
The original picture was taken on November 2nd, 2018 when Imran Khan met the Chinese President in Beijing. The picture was taken by Reuters’s Thomas Peter.
In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that the original picture was manipulated to create the picture on the left.
