A picture of a building riddled with bullets is being shared online with a claim that it was taken in Kashmir.

FACT CHECK 

When NewsMobile fact-checked the post, we found the claim to be FAKE.
On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found a blog post about Gaza, dated Feb 12, 2009, featuring this image.
On further investigation, we also found the same picture on Time Magazine‘s website under the title ‘Gaza Digs Out’.  “A woman hangs clothes on the balcony of her bullet-ridden apartment building,” the text read.

Hence, the above information proves that the image is old and is from Gaza and not Kashmir.
