A picture post has surfaced on the internet in which a quote has been attributed to veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani where he is mocking Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The quote in Hindi read: “मोदी जी के चरित्र ने ही उन्हें संदिग्ध बना दिया है, वरना अटल जी से, किसी ने कारगिल के सबूत नहीं माँगे थे! लालकृष्णा आडवाणी”
(Translation: “Modi ji’s character has made him suspicious, otherwise no one had asked for evidence of Kargil from Atal ji! LK Advani”)
At the time of filing this report, the above post was shared close to 3,000 times.

We started our investigation by running the above statement through a Google search, but there was no authentic report to verify that the above statement was made by LK Advani.
Moreover, if Advani had made this comment about PM Modi, it would have been a major headline, but upon a keyword search also, there was no report by any news channel or website quoting LK Advani with the above statement.
