A picture of dug-up road is being shared on social media with a claim the picture is from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi.
“BJP turned Banaras into London, ” the post read in Hindi.

FACT CHECK 

NewsMobile fact checked the picture and found the claim to be false.
On closely examining the picture, we noticed Aryan Footwear and Ansh Cake Palace written on the boards.
We ran a search and found that both the places are in Sangam Vihar, Delhi.

We then ran the picture through Reverse Image Search and found that the same image was uploaded by Manjinder Singh Sirsa, spokesperson of Akali Dal on January 9, 2020.

We also ran a keyword search and found that many Twitter users shared similar pictures back in 2018.

According to the caption, the pictures were from Ratiya Marg, Sangam Vihar. It is the same road on which both the above shops are located.
Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the above picture is from Delhi and not Varanasi.
