A picture of a girl in hijab standing with Rahul Gandhi is going viral. The picture is being circulated with a claim that she is Aysha Renna, a student at Jamia Millia Islamia who became the face of the Jamia protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found an article published on December 5, 2019, with title, “Class 12 student flawlessly translates Rahul Gandhi’s speech, turns hero (video).”
The article identified the girl as Safa Sebin, a Class 12 student of the school in Malappuram district in Kerala. While giving a speech at the school, Rahul Gandhi asked a volunteer to translate his speech as he would be speaking in English and Safa Sebin volunteered.
Rahul Gandhi also posted her video on Twitter, where she can be heard introducing herself as Safa.
