Wearing masks has become mandatory if you are planning a visit to a mall, restaurant, or even a place of worship after the Government issued guidelines for restarting of establishments from June 8.
Soon after the release of the guidelines, a picture of a mask with insignia of Delhi Public School started making rounds on the social media.
The posts claimed that it is mandatory for the student of DPS to buy and wear these masks which cost Rs 400 each.
NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be false.
We found that many parents took to Twitter to clarify that their children’s school has not endorsed this mask.
Replying to one of the posts, a Twitter user, Asha Kishan wrote, “My daughter is in DPS. Got message from DPS that they have not endorsed or made any masks and parents r not to buy these DPS logo masks.”
