A picture of Home Minister Amit Shah and Karnataka CM Yediyurappa sitting with several Naga Sadhus has gone viral on social media with claims that Amit Shah is discussing coronavirus vaccine with a few ‘scientists’.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found that the picture is morphed.
On putting the picture through Google Reverse Image Search, we found the real picture on One India dated May 21, 2018. However, the picture only showed Karnataka CM Yediyurappa with Naga Sadhus.
Further, with the help of keyword search ‘Yediyurappa Met Sadhus’, we found a video of the event on YouTube, posted by Swarna News on October 3, 2017.
With the help of Fake Vs Real collage, it is clear that Home Minister Amit Shah was not part of the meeting when Karnataka CM Yediyurappa met Naga Sadhus.
On digging further, we found the real picture of Home Minister Amit Shah in an article by The Tribune dated May 24, 2019. The picture was taken when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah visited BJP veteran LK Advani’s house.
With the help of another Fake VS Real collage, we can clearly see that the picture of Amit Shah was from LK Advani’s residence.
Hence, with the help of the above information, it is clear that the picture in circulation is fake.
