Fact Check: Don't believe this FAKE quote about Gandhi attributed to Akshay Kumar

A screenshot of a tweet by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is doing rounds on social media. In the tweet, he is saying that people should listen to the reasoning as to why Nathuram Godse decided to kill Gandhi.
The Tweet in Hindi read: “मैं यह नहीं कहता कि गोडसे द्वारा गांधी की हत्या करना सही है या गलत था पर इतना जरूर कहूंगा कि इतिहास की किताबों में गोडसे को गांधी का हत्यारा पढ़ाने के साथ-साथ गोडसे का अंतिम बयान भी पढ़ाई कि उसने आखिर गांधी की हत्या क्यों की थी? बाकी सही गलत का फैसला भावी पीढ़ी अपने आप कर लेगी।”
(Translation: I am not saying the Godse assassinating Mahatma Gandhi was right or wrong, but I would say that history books talking about Godse’s assassination of Gandhi should also include his last statement about why he killed Gandhi. Future generations can decide right or wrong themselves.)
