The Mesmerising view of NCR roads covered in white, that many got to witness today was in reality roads and fields covered with hails.
So, hail and snow different?
Well, the answer is yes.
Hail is a frozen raindrop, generally a lot bigger than a pure crystal of ice while Snow is made up of one or more tiny ice crystals that come together to form the intricate and unique shapes of a snowflake, says a report by ABC Science.
Some took to Twitter to share the picture of the ‘Worst hailstorm’ they have ever witnessed.
