A video has surfaced on the internet in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be seen looking at a TV screen in which visuals of a bulletin by Republic TV on Ram Mandir is being played.
In the video, PM Modi starts clapping when BJP’s Sambit Patra is heard saying ‘Mandir wahin banega’.

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above video, we found that it was doctored.
On processing the video through InVid, we extracted screengrabs and put the screenshots through Reverse Image Search. We came across the original video which is actually during the launch of Chandrayaan 2 (India’s second moon mission).
We found the original video on newswire ANI’s official YouTube channel in which PM Modi can be seen witnessing the launch of Chandrayaan 2 on the TV screen.

The viral video on the TV screen has been replaced by the visuals of the news bulletin by Republic TV using video-editing software.
We also found the clip of the bulletin that is used in the video. It was uploaded by Republic TV on its YouTube channel on March 6, 2018. You can see the clip at 28:18 min of the video.

The above information proves that the viral video is FAKE.
