NewsMobile fact-checked the above video and found the claim to be false.
We extracted the keyframes of the video and put them through Reverse Image Search.
We found the same video on YouTube that was uploaded on January 13, 2020, and according to the video description, it was taken in Hamburg, Germany.
In the video, we also noticed a police van and on further investigation, we found that it’s a german police van.
Taking a clue from the above information, we ran a search and found that the above video is from a ‘Demonstration in solidarity with Uyghur Muslims’.
We also found several pictures from the demonstration on the official website of Getty Images.
Moreover, we found that the first confirmed coronavirus case in the US was reported on January 21, 2020.
The above information proves that the video existed even before the first COVID-19 patient was identified in the US.
Hence, the claim attached to the above video is false.
