A picture is being shared on social media that claims that 1212 pillars of Rameshwaram Temple meet at one point.
The caption with the picture also claimed that the temple was build 1750 years ago by Indians engineers.
FACT CHECK
When NewMobile Fact-Checked this, we found out that the image is fake.
When we scrolled through the official website of the Arulmigu Ramanatha Swami Temple, Rameswaram, we found out that the actual corridor is much more beautiful and mesmerising.
We also found out that the temple actually has 1212 pillars in its outer corridor.
However, as far as the image in the post is concerned, when we put it through the Google reverge search, we found a similar picture on Getty.
