Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, a video of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is being shared on social media where he can be seen packing relief material.
The post implies that the video has been shot recently in the backdrop of COVID-19.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and found that it is OLD.
On the top right corner of the video, the logo of Islamic Relief Canada can be seen.
Taking a cue from that, we ran a search using relevant keywords and found a video uploaded by Islamic Relief Canada on June 22, 2017.

Trudeau also shared the picture from the event on his Facebook page on June 16, 2017. The picture was captioned, “Fill em up! It was great to be with Islamic Relief Canada volunteers in my riding today, marking Ramadan by making food kits for Moisson Montréal.”

Moreover, Justin Trudeau was in quarantine after his wife was tested positive of COVID-19. Even after his wife’s recovery, he announced that his family will continue to remain in self-isolation for two more weeks. So, it is extremely unlikely that he would break the rule of social distancing in these times to come out and work in proximity of so many people.
Our Fact Check clearly establishes that the video being circulated is old and has no connection to Covid-19.
