With the help of InVID Tool, we got the keyframes of the video. On putting one of the keyframes through Google Reverse Image Search, we found a screen grab of the video on Raftaar News dated September 29, 2020, claiming that a video of an incident from Hamirpur has gone viral wherein a woman was mistreated by police personnel.

Further, with the help of keywords search, we found another news report by Zee News dated September 30, 2020, claiming that Police officer Shyam Pratap Patel was captured in a viral video where he was seen misbehaving with a Dalit woman.

On digging further, we also found the social media news report on YouTube posted by ABP News Ganga dated September 29, 2020, claiming that the incident is from Hamirpur where police were seen misbehaving with a woman.

Moreover, we found another article in Dainik Bhaskar claiming that the woman was allegedly harassed for opening her vegetable shop in Ambedkar Nagar locality. According to the news article, SP of Hamirpur district said that an old incident has gone viral as a recent one.
Other news organisations like Sarim, Divya Bharat, Bundel Khand News, The News Now and Parda Phash also claimed that the viral video of a woman being beaten up by police is from Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh. NewsMobile could not find any credible source claiming that the woman in the viral video is the mother is of the Hathras victim.
Hence, with the help of above information it is proved that the woman in the video is not the mother of Hathras victim. Truth is that the woman is a vegetable seller of Ambedkar Nagar locality in UP’s Hamirpur.
