A video is being shared on social media where police can be seen taking down a person and handcuffing him.
Claims are being made that the video is from Italy and this his how the police handle anyone who steps out on the streets during the lockdown.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video and found the claim to be false.
On taking out the keyframes of the video and putting them through Reverse Image Search, we found the same video on a website called ‘Hoodsite’.
“Brazilian Authorities Take Down Alleged Knife-Wielding Man”, the headline of the article read.
The article also mentioned that the incident took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
We ran a search using relevant keywords and found that the incident was reported by several local media organizations.

According to an article, the video shows the Military Police of Brazil taking down a miscreant who had allegedly threatened people with a knife on the street.

In conclusion, the above information proves that the viral video is not from Italy.
