Fact Check: Video of a woman shooting Gandhi's effigy being circulated under the name of Anil Upadhyay

A video is being shared on social media in which a woman in saffron saree can be seen shooting an effigy of Mahatma Gandhi.
The video is being circulated with the claim that she is BJP MLA, Anil Upadhyay.

NewsMoile fact-checked the above video and found the claim to be FALSE.
Upon running a search on Google we found that the video is from last year from 2019 and the woman in the video was national secretary Hindu Mahasabha, Puja Shakun Pandey.

In 2019, she shot an effigy of Mahatma Gandhi to mark his 71st death anniversary and the ‘martyrdom’ of Nathuram Godse.
The incident was covered by many media houses after the video went viral on social media.
