FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found that the claim attached to the video is false.
We extracted keyframes from the video and put them through Reverse Image Search. The search led us to a Facebook post by MateraNews (an Italian newspaper). The post featured the same video and the caption suggested that the video is from Matera, an Italian city.

The caption in Italian read: “#Matera: al Madonna delle Grazie cuffie in aria e chiusura reparto Coronavirus! Ecco la gioia di chi è rimasto in prima linea durante l’emergenza.”
(Translation: “#Matera: in Madonna delle Grazie headphones in the air and the Coronavirus department closes! Here is the joy of those who remained on the front line during the emergency.”)
On digging further we came across another post with the same video. According to the caption in Italian, it was established that the video is form ‘Madonna delle Grazie’ (Hospital) in the Italian town of Matera.

In conclusion, the above information proves that the video in question is NOT from New Zealand. However, New Zealand recently declared itself Coronavirus-free.
