A video of a little girl lying on a stretcher surrounded by police and others has gone viral on social media claiming that little the girl was raped and then killed in Aligarh.
The Facebook post read, “#अलीगढ़ में तेजवीर प्रजापति की 3 साल की #लड़की के साथ रेप कर कर उसको मार डाला सभी भाइयों से निवेदन है इसे सभी #व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप में फैलाएं जिससे इस #लड़की को ज्यादा जल्दी से जल्दी इंसाफ मिल सके और हो सके तो अपनी #फेसबुक से पोस्ट भी डाल दें वीडियो भी भेज रहा हूं”
(Translation: A 3-year-old girl was raped and killed in Aligarh. Request to all the brothers, spread it in all WhatsApp groups so that this girl can get justice more quickly and if possible, your Facebook put a post from me, sending the video as well.)

Further, we also found a tweet by Aligarh Police dated November 8, 2020, claiming that the video viral on social media regarding the death of a three-year-old girl is of a road accident and social media claims are misleading, baseless and devoid of facts.

On digging further, we also found a post by SSP Aligarh on Facebook dated November 7, 2020, claiming that the three-year-old girl in the video died due to an accident and was not raped and murdered.
