A horrific video of molestation of a woman has gone viral all over social media with claims that it is from Kerala. The post also claims that such incidents are very common in Kerala as a certain community is in ‘minority’ there.

With the help of InVID tool, we found the keyframes. On putting the keyframes through Google Reverse Image Search, we found a similar video on SAKSHI TV, posted on September 27, 2017, asking the Andhra Pradesh Government to take serious action in the Kanigiri rape attempt.
We also found reports about this incident in The Times of India dated September 27, 2017, stating that a minor girl was molested and filmed in Prakasam district of Hyderabad.
With the help of keywords search, we found a news article by Daily Bhaskar dated September 27, 2017, claiming that a sickening video of a 19-year-old girl being molested and assaulted was shared all over social media. Police arrested three accused men from Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district after the video began circulating on the internet.
We also found a similar picture of the girl on NDTV as well, claiming that in 2017 an Andhra Pradesh teen was assaulted by her boyfriend and the video was shared all over social media.
In conclusion, with the help of the above information, it is clear that the outrageous video in question is misleading and is being circulated to create a false communal narrative.
