On putting the picture through Google Reverse Image Search, we found the same picture in a news article featured in India Today dated October 20, 2016. The article talks about a joint exercise “Sino-India Cooperation 2016” that was conducted by Indian and Chinese armies to enhance interaction and cooperation between the two countries.

Further, we also found the same picture on Twitter, posted by North Command of Indian Army on October 20, 2016, claiming that a Joint Sino-Indian Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief Exercise was conducted by soldiers in Ladakh.

With the help of keywords ‘Sino-India Cooperation 2016’, we found another article in Jagran Josh stating that India and China conducted the Sino-India Cooperation in 2016.
