FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be misleading.
We found a tweet posted by Aaditya Thackery, Indian Politician, claiming that no new restrictions have been imposed in Mumbai.
NO need to PANIC
The order issued under section 144 CrPC is only an extension of the previous order issued on 31st August.
No new restrictions have been imposed by @MumbaiPolice .
Please share and don’t panic. #Section144 #Mumbai

According to Mumbai police PRO, DCP Operations has issued an order under 144 CrPC, which will be applicable in Mumbai up to September 30, 2020. It is issued as per the guidelines received from State Govt on 31st August regarding the Restrictions and Phase wise Opening of Lockdown (Mission Begin Again) & no new/fresh restrictions have been imposed by Mumbai Police.
Further, we also found an article on Hindustan Times, dated September 17, 2020, claiming that it has been clarified that the ministry of home affairs has dismissed rumours that India might impose a strict lockdown from September 25 in the wake of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases.
Also, another news article published by Times Now claims that it has been clarified that there will be no change in the unlock guidelines.
Hence, don’t fall for misleading claims that curfew is being imposed in Mumbai due to the rise in COVID-19 cases as it is misleading the masses.
