Fact Check: Don't fall for this morphed tweet of President Donald Trump; here's the truth

A screengrab of a tweet by the US President Donald Trump is doing the rounds on social media following his recovery from COVID-19. The text in the tweet claims that the doctors have never seen a body killing Coronavirus so fast, as that of Donald Trump’s.
The tweet read, “I am feeling much better. The doctors said they’ve never seen a body kill the coronavirus like mine. They said my body was made to kill virus’s. They tested my DNA and they said it wasn’t DNA, it was USA. They said if Joe Biden had the virus he would have died several times by now. They said there is no way anyone with a body like mine could lose an election. I’m gonna win HUGE.”

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be morphed and misleading.
Firstly, when we look at the tweet carefully, we can see that the gap between Trump’s name ‘Donald J Trump’ and the blue ‘verified’ symbol is more than the normal space difference. Also, the alignment of the verified symbol is different.
On comparing the screenshot of the social media post and screenshot of a different tweet, we can clearly spot the difference.
Further, we also compared the screenshot of the social media post to the Desktop and mobile versions of another tweet from his official handle.

Further, we then typed the exact content of the screenshot that was viral on social media and found that it exceeds the word limit by 101 extra characters.

Moreover, we then noticed the watermark on the social media post. The watermark read, “@thecoveringproblemchild”.

This watermark took us to the Instagram meme page by Sam Grannis, where we found the same Instagram post. According to the brief biography on Instagram, this page is a meme page for promotions and credits.

The meme page on Instagram is private so the screenshot is attached below. The post was uploaded on October 6, 2020, tagging another meme page for promotion.
Instagram description read, “@kairoshq is the best account you’re not following”.

We also searched for updates on Donald Trump but could not find any related news about doctors making any such claims or any such tweets by Trump himself.
Hence, with the help of the above information, it has been proved that US President Donald Trump’s tweet on social media is not the real one and is created just for humour.
