A video of a woman talking about Lord Krishna and Bhagavad Gita is being shared on social media with a claim that the woman in the video is the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern.
“New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern. She speaks on her strength derived from Bhagavad Gita. Jai Sri Krishna” the post claimed.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and found the claim to be false.
We ran a search and found that the woman in the video is US Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional district, Tulsi Gabbard. The video was originally shared by her on her official Twitter handle on August 11, 2020.
To all celebrating around the world, I want to wish you a very Happy Janmashtami! May we always be blessed with remembrance of Sri Krishna, His unconditional love, and His transcendental appearance in this world. Jai Sri Krishna! #HappyJanmashtami #KrishnaJanmashtami, ” she tweeted.

Moreover, the Prime Minister of New Zealand and the photograph of Tulsi Gabbar are distinctly different. The same can be seen below.

This also proves that woman in the video is not of the New Zealand premier. Hence, the above fact-check proves that the video is being circulated with a false claim.
