With the help of keywords, ‘Modi’ ‘Hardeep Singh Puri’ ‘Inaugration’, we found a picture in a news article on Deccan Herald dated August 19, 2019, claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Lok Sabha Secretariat duplex flats in the presence of Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, union minister Hardeep Singh Puri and others in New Delhi.
On digging further, we also found a video on YouTube by ANI dated August 19, 2019, claiming that PM Modi inaugurated Lok Sabha Secretariat flats in North Avenue.
On comparing the Fake vs Real collage, we can clearly see that the video is doctored.
Hence, we can conclude that the video of PM Modi unveiling Asaduddin Owaisi’s picture is doctored. The plaque which was there in the original picture was replaced with a photo of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and spread on social media.
Truth is that PM Modi has inaugurated Lok Sabha Secretariat flats in North Avenue.
