NewsMobile fact-checked the posts and found them to be misleading.
We ran a keyword search on Google and found news reports stating that former Samajwadi Party Member of Legislative Council (MLC), Mulayam Singh Yadav has passed away and NOT the SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav.
According to the report by India Today, senior SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav was 92. The report also states that he becoming a sarpanch at the age of 21 in 1949. He was elected sarpanch for five consecutive terms. He later served as the block pramukh for 15 years between 1973 and 1988, and also as a Member of Legislative Council (MLC) in Uttar Pradesh from 1990 to 2010.

Moreover, after the misleading news went viral on social media, Aparna Bisht Yadav, daughter-in-law of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav also clarified that he is in good health.
“Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji. By the grace of God, the father means our beloved leader is healthy, ” the post read.

Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the post in circulation is misleading as the Mulayam Singh Yadav who passed away is NOT Samajwadi Party founder.
