Several pictures of a man posing for a pregnancy shoot are doing the rounds all over social media claiming that a husband completed the ‘pregnancy’ photoshoot after his wife refused to do it.
The Facebook read, “Pregnant wife refused the photoshoot, so the husband did it because he already paid for it Martyn Wilkes Photography IG: @valentinbosioc.”

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be misleading.
Firstly, we noticed that the name of the photographer ‘Martyn Wilkes’ is mentioned in the Facebook description

We searched for the Facebook Page of the photographer and found that the pictures were posted on April 4, 2016. This means that the pictures in circulation are old.
On putting the picture through Google Reverse Image Search, we found the same picture on Daily Mail dated April 20, 2017, stating that a Spanish father got the pictures clicked as a spoof.

On digging further, we also found another news article on Design You Trust featuring the same pictures.

For further confirmation, NewsMobile contacted Martyn Wilkes, the photographer, who confirmed to us that the social media posts are not true.
“18 years earlier, he wrote down the name of his daughter on her birth certificate incorrectly due to drinking beer on the route. Was supposed to be Noelia but he wrote Natalia. To make up to his wife he agreed to pose for me for this shooting,” Martyn Wilkes told NewsMobile.
Hence, it is clear that this is an old photoshoot done as a spoof and the social media posts are not correct.
