Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh recently put out a series of tweets that President Kovind was not invited to the bhoomi pujan of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya since he comes from a Dalit background.

He claimed that BJP wanted to keep Dalits out of Hindu Temples.
His tweets received 6,000 retweets and comments and 21,000+ likes. After Singh’s tweet, multiple users on Facebook and Twitter also posted similar information.

Xactly first prasad was given to dalit, but keshav maurya was not invited. This is the fact.

We then checked President Kovind’s twitter account and while he wasn’t present at the ceremony, this was his tweet from the day of the ceremony.
Felicitations to all for the foundation laying of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Being built in tune with law, it defines India’s spirit of social harmony and people’s zeal. It will be a testimony to ideals of RamRajya and a symbol of modern India.
