Ahead of assembly polls in Delhi, a video is doing rounds on social media in which a differently-abled man is given ‘magic blankets’.
In the video, a man on the wheelchair can be seen thanking another man, identified as Ravi, for giving him the blanket. After receiving the blanket, he can be seen walking back.

The caption of the video read: “AAP propaganda video. Blankets were distributed to disabled persons. It looks like the director forgot to say “cut” and the person starts walking away. Magic blanket indeed”

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above video and found the claim attached to the video to be false.
Firstly, we closely analysed the video and caught our attention on the banner in the background which reads- डिजिटल साक्षरता संसथान वितरण समारोह (Digital Saksharta Sansthan Distribution Ceremony).

On further investigation, we came across a news bulletin of a local news channel AbhiTak dated January 25th 2020 which featured the same video.
According to the news report, the video is from Bijnor’s Seohara in Uttar Pradesh and it has no connection with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)
The report further suggested that the man in the video who was seen walking in the video is actually 40% disabled.
In conclusion, the above information proves that the claims attached to the viral video are FAKE.
