Latest stats reveal that Indians spend 98% of their online time on WhatsApp and during this time a lot of messaging, forwarding of knowledge takes place. However, the authenticity of some knowledge gets ignored. Something like this recently happened when a picture of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan with a text written on it went viral on WhatsApp.
The text on image quoting Amitabh Bachchan read:

Since it came from an influencial person, an opinion soon started to float on the internet. The reality, however, was far from this. The quote had NOTHING TO DO WITH AMITABH BACHCHAN.
After learning about the post, the 75-year old actor and his Digital team took to Twitter to clarify that the statement was not made by Bachchan or any of his associate.
