After the scrapping of Article 370 which granted the special status to Jammu and Kashmir, several pictures are doing rounds on social media showcasing violence in the valley.
A set of such pictures are shared on Twitter.

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above tweet, we found that the claim attached to the pictures is FALSE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture which was taken in June 2017 by AP’s Mukhtar Khan.
The picture shows Kashmiri women and young girls wailing as the body of martyred policeman Tasveer Ahmad arrives for his funeral.

The above picture is not from Kashmir. It is actually from Israel taken by the award-winning American photographer Heidi Levine in 2014.
Hence, the above information proves that the viral tweet is misleading.
