A post is being shared on social media with a claim that Salman Khan has offered Rs 20 lakh to the family of Tabrez Ansari who was allegedly lynched by a mob and then succumbed to his injuries.
“सलमान खान की taraf से तबरेज अंसारी के परिवार को 20,00000 रुपये और मुकदमे का पूरा खर्च उठाया जाएगा, और सज़ा दिलाई जाएगी. Mashaallah Bhai jaan #Salman_khan” the post claims.
FACT CHECK
When Newsmobile fact-checked the post, we found it to be fake.
When we ran a Google search using keywords, Salman Khan, Tabrez Ansari, 20 lakh and money, we did not find any report on it whatsoever.
We also scanned through Salman Khan’s social media account and found nothing.
This proves that the claim is fake.
