Amid Coronavirus outbreak, a website link is being shared along with a message claiming that Netflix is giving ‘access to its platform of films and series for the period of isolation’.

FACT CHECK 

NewsMobile fact-checked the above message and found that it is a spam.
When we open the site, we were asked to answer some questions related to COVID-19. following which they asked us to share the link with ’10 friend’ to activate the subscription. We also noted that this website is not a secure site.

NewsMobile also contacted a senior Netflix official who confirmed that the above site is FAKE and Netflix is NOT giving a free subscription.
This proves that the viral link is spam and no such schemes have been announced by the streaming service.
