A picture of a young man is doing rounds on social media with a claim that he was raped by three women for three days in Telangana.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found the picture in an NDTV article published on March 06, 2016, titled, ” Thane Man Who Killed 14 Of His Family May Have Sexually Abused Sister: Probe.”
According to the caption of the picture, the man in this image is Hasnain Warekar, a commerce graduate, who committed suicide after killing his family members. “Hasnain Warekar, a commerce graduate, killed his wife, children, parents, three sisters and their children; but another sister, Subiya Barmar (22), survived the attack, ” the caption read.

We searched the net and found that the narrative of three women kidnapping and raping a man for 3 days is from South Africa.
According to a 2017 article published in India Today, the incident took place in eastern Pretoria, South Africa. The 23-year-old man was kidnapped from a 15-seater communal taxi and was forcibly injected with an unknown substance before he passed out.
After three days of assaults, the man said he was dumped in an open field in Benoni, a report published on the website of Evening Standard said.
