A picture has gone viral on social media that shows Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Vinod Agarwal, supposedly insulting the national flag in the BJP Tiranga Yatra.
Facebook read, “भाजपा के मेयर विनोद अग्रवाल भाजपा की तिरंगा यात्रा में तिरंगे का अपमान करते हुए।”

On putting the picture through Google Reverse Image Search, we found this picture in a news article on hindi.catchnews.com dated February 7, 2017.
According to this news article, Union Minister, Radhe Mohan, flagged off the yatra in Moradabad by waving the tricolour and displayed a sense of patriotism towards the country. However, some Moradabad activists insulted the tricolour by lowering it down to the floor.
Another article in Patrika.com also claimed that the case has been registered against Moradabad activist Krishna Kumar Kale, who insulted the tricolour.
In conclusion, the Moradabad Activist Krishna Kumar Kale was disrespecting the tricolour, not BJP Minister Vinod Agarwal. Hence, the claims in the above posts are false.
