FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above circular and found it to be false.
First, we scanned Amul’s website and social media handles, but we couldn’t find such notification by the dairy brand.
On investigating further, we came across a tweet by the Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) which manages Amul, RS Sodhi, clarifying that the notice in circulation is false.
“It seems somebody spreading this news which is fake and none of our milk chilling centre or procurement activities are going to close down , Rather we are procuring more,” RS Sodhi tweeted.

Hence, the above information clarifies that Amul is NOT shutting its chilling stations.
