Amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan over the scrapping of Article 370 which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir, a video of protest is making rounds on social media in which cops can be seen firing at the crowd and it has been claimed that the video is from Jammu and Kashmir.
Dear @jack this is what happening with Muslims in Jummu #Kashmir there is no communication and reports are that worst kind of genocide taking place.
Meanwhile @Twitter suspending the accounts of those highlighting the crime! #Shameful #ModiHitler pic.twitter.com/N6ArmoGdjJ

This video can be old or recent. The world must watch how Indian occupation forces are firing straight bullets on unarmed civilians who are out on streets against violation of the human rights in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Criminal silence of the UN has no justification. pic.twitter.com/LaNDz9FAey

FACT CEHCK
Team of fact-checkers at NewsMobile checked the above posts and found that the claims attached with the video are false.
Firstly the video is NOT from Jammu and Kashmir, but it is from Jharkhand’s Khunti when police were holding a mock drill.
On putting keyframes of the video through Reverse Image Search, we found the same video on YouTube dated November 1st, 2017.
Meanwhile, towards the end of the video, an announcement can be heard in which cops are informing about the mock drill.
Hence, the above information proves that the video is not from Jammu and Kashmir as claimed above.
