A video is being shared on social media claiming that it is of the Azad Hind Fauj singing the original national anthem that was tweaked by Rabindranath Tagore later.
“असली राष्ट्रगान सुने जिसे आजाद हिंद फौज के सैनिकों के साथ नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस गाया करते थे बाद में जिसमें परिवर्तन करके रविंद्र नाथ टैगोर ने जॉर्ज पंचम के स्वागत में बनाया था और जिसे ही आज हर सरकार राष्ट्रगान की मान्यता देखकर गवा रही है,” the caption read.
( Translation – Listen to the real national anthem which was sung by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose with the soldiers of azad hind army.  Later Rabindranath Tagore made some changes in for the welcome of George Pancham and today every government is giving recognition to this national anthem and losing the actual one. )

When NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video, we found the claim to be fake.
The national anthem was written by Rabindranath Tagore. It was first publicly sung on 27 December 1911 at the Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress.
While Azad Hind Fauj was founded in 1942 by Rash Bihari Bose. The army was later revived under the leadership of Subhash Chandra Bose.
When we did a Google Search on the lyrics of the viral video, we found that song is called Subh Sukh Chain, the national anthem of the Provisional Government of Free India.
In 1943, based on Rabindranath Tagore’s Bengali poem ‘Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata’Subh Sukh Chain( Hindustani version) was translated by Bose along with the help of Mumtaz Hussain, a writer with the Azad Hind Radio and Captain Abid Ali (INA). The score was composed by Capt. Thakuri.

On 24 January 1950, President Rajendra Prasad announced the final decision that Jana Gana Mana would be the national anthem of India.
This proves that the above claim is wrong as Rabindranath Tagore’s version of the national anthem came way before Bose’s version.
