NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found that the woman in the picture is NOT Ajay Devgn’s mother.
During our investigation, we found that the woman in the above picture is Pushpa Joshi, who starred in one of Devgn’s movies. She made her Bollywood debut at the age of 85 in the 2018 blockbuster titled, ‘Raid’.
We found an article, dated March 25, 2018, by Amar Ujala, which featured the picture in question.
The headline of the article read: “85 की उम्र में ‘अम्मा’ ने बॉलीवुड में की धमाकेदार एंट्री, ‘रेड’ में इलियाना को दे रहीं कड़ी टक्कर”
Joshi was again in the news after she passed away at the age of 86 in November 2019.
