Fact Check: Viral video falsely claims that Coronavirus is a bacteria and not a virus

A video is going viral with a claim that Coronavirus is not a virus but a bacteria.
The video, that cites doctors in Italy as its source, claims that according to a research, the deadly disease can be cured by antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs like Aspirin.

NewsMobile fact checked this video and found the claims of the video to be false and misleading.
World Health Organisation (WHO) on its website  has clarified that the virus that causes COVID-19 is from a family of viruses called Coronaviridae. Antibiotics do not work against these viruses.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) also debunked the viral video and said that the claims are untrue. PIB said that Coronavirus is a virus and there is no specific medicinal cure available for it yet.
