Fact Check: Video of man tampering bread packets 'to spread COVID-19' is NOT from India

A video has surfaced on the internet in which a man can be seen licking his fingers while sealing bread packets.
The post claims that the person is spitting on the packets to spread the Coronavirus in India
The caption of the video read: “#SpitJihad Dear Indians, Pls sanitize the outer covers of the bread you buy , bcoz we don’t know which one has spit of disgusting x’hadis @narendramodi @AmitShah”

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and found that it is an old video from Philippines.
We extracted the keyframes of the video through InVid and put it through Reverse Image Search. We found the same video in an article by the Philippines News dated September 20, 2019.

The video shows the delivery personnel tampering Gardenia bread products before taking them to clients. The person was stealing pieces of bread from the pack.
