A picture of a woman holding an injured child is being shared online with a claim that the child was hit by the Uttar Pradesh Police during the anti-CAA protest.

At the time of filing the report, the above post had more than 6,000 shares on Facebook.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found the claim to be FAKE.
On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found a tweet dated Nov 14, 2019, and according to the caption, the picture is from Khanpur, Pakistan and the injuries were caused by dog bites.

The same picture was uploaded by a Facebook user on Nov 12, 2019, with a similar claim.
Further investigation led us to a news report that states that 27 people were injured within 3 hours after being bitten by a rabid dog in the Khanpur area in November.
Another article by Pak TV, featuring the above image, also talked about the attack and the lack of effort from the authorities to prevent such attacks.
