A picture of a woman breastfeeding a baby through bars has surfaced on the internet. The claims are being made that the mother was put in a detention camp because she was protesting against the NRC.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found that it is not from India.
On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found several articles and blogs suggesting that the picture was taken in 2013.

Another article dated January 13, 2013, claimed that the picture is from Argentina.

NewsMobile independently couldn’t verify the origin of the image or find a reliable source to confirm if the image is from Argentina. But the above information proves that the viral picture is old and is not from India.
