A video has gone viral on social media according to which a man who is claiming to be Patidar leader Hardik Patel’s father, is talking about Hardik Patel and other opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi, specifically addressing the people of Gujarat.
In the video, he is seen praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and opposing Hardik Patel.
Several people on Facebook share the video with the caption that read: “हार्दिक पटेल के पिता जी ने विडियो जारी करके गुजरात की जनता से अपील की मोदी साहब का साथ दे हार्दिक जीगनेश अल्पेश तीनो फर्जी है मवाली टपोरी है लोफर है राहुल गाँधी इनको पैसा देता है और ये तीनो अय्याशी करते है न इनके पिछे समाज है न इनके पास कोई वोट ये सिर्फ लोफर है और राहुल से मिला हुआ है मे भारत आऊंगा तब हार्दिक के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करवाऊगा ।
मोदी जी महान है मे विदेश मे बैठा हू मुझे पता है मोदी जी कितने महान नेता है ।

The above video was shared on a Facebook page ‘I Support Narendra Bhai Modi Bjp’ which is followed by over 1 million Facebook users.
At the time of filing this report, the particular post was shared by over 1,800 people and has got over 33,000 views.
Several other Facebook users shared the video.

The claims made in the above videos are FAKE as the man introduced himself as Naveen Patel and Hardik Patel’s father is Bharat Patel.
The man opened the video saying “Hello myself, Naveen Patel from Georgia, America.”
Above video is an interview of Bharat Patel (Hardik’s father) by Sandesh News in Gujarati who look no where near like the man in the viral video.
Hence, don’t believe the viral video.
