Fact Check: Old picture of man watering wheat sacks resurfaces as recent

A picture is doing rounds on social media in which a man is watering the wheat sacks. In the Facebook posts, the picture caption claims that the government employees are the ones trying to destroy the dry wheat sacks by watering them.

The Facebook caption read, “ये रहे सुशासन बाबू के सरकार में सूखे गेहूं के बोरो में भरा जा रहा पानी ।
बरसात में गेहूं की खराबी का बहाना बनाकर राशी हड़पने की साजिश करते कुछ सरकारी कर्मचारी…!!! #बिहार_बचा_लो_मौका_है…!!!”
(English Translation, “Here is the water being filled in dry wheat sacks in Sushasan Babu’s government.
Some government employees are making excuses for grabbing money and claiming that the wheat is destroyed due to rain…!!!
#बिहार_बचा_लो_मौका_है…!!!”)

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be old and misleading.
On putting the picture through Google Reverse Image Search, we found this picture on Pehechaan Express dated August 8, 2016, claiming that the government employees in godown are watering the wheat sacks for the production of beer. 

On digging further we found another article on Caseleak.com dated August 6, 2016, with similar claims that the government is watering wheat sacks for the production of beer. 

In conclusion, the above information establishes that the picture in question is of is old from 2016 and the claims attached to it are false.
