A video of IAS officer Tina Dabi has gone viral with a claim that she is married to a Muslim man and now she is separated from her husband Athar Aamir Khan after two years of marriage because her husband used to torture her to wear a burqa. It also says she has taken charge as the District Council Chairman in Sri Ganganagar as per vedic rituals.
The caption in Hindi read, “यह वही चर्चित आईएएस टीना डाबी जी हैं जिन्होंने एक मुस्लिम से विवाह किया था मात्र 2 वर्षों में ही इस्लाम की खूबसूरती पता चल गई जमीन का पति अख्तर इन्हें बुरी तरह से प्रताड़ित करता था मारता था इन्हें बुर्का पहनने पर मजबूर करता था. फिर ये अपने पति से अलग हो गई और अपने नाम में से खान भी हटा लिया कल इन्होंने श्रीगंगानगर में जिला परिषद चेयरमैन का कार्यभार संभाला पूरे वैदिक रीति-रिवाजों और पूजा पाठ के साथ उन्होंने कार्यभार संभाला”
(English Translation, “This is the same famous IAS Tina Dabi Ji who had married a Muslim in just 2 years, the beauty of Islam has been revealed, her husband Akhtar used to torture her badly, he used to force her to wear a burqa. Then she separated from her husband and removed Khan from her name. Yesterday she took charge of district council chairman in Sri Ganganagar. She took charge with whole Vedic customs and worship lesson.”)

On putting the keywords, “IAS Tina Dabi got separated from her husband” we found a news article on jantakarereporter.com dated July 23, 2020, claiming the IAS topper Tina Dabi got separated from her husband Aktar Aamir Khan as she was posted at Sri Ganganagar and her husband is posted in Jaipur.
On scanning Tina Dabi’s official Instagram account we found more information about the video in which she claims, “And this is how Sriganganagar Zila Parishad has welcomed me 🙏🏻 Feeling very humbled and very grateful 🙏🏻”

Further, she also stated that she is posted here as a CEO Zila Parishad Sri Ganganagar and not as District Council Chairman of Sri Ganganagar.
Her Instagram caption read, “Sri Ganganagar is a planned and the northernmost city of Rajasthan and is a border city to Pakistan. It is named after Maharaja Shri Ganga Singh Bahadur. It is also known as the green district & food basket of Rajasthan.

Hence, the reason behind the separation of IAS Tina Dabi and her husband is that they are posted in different areas and not because of her being forced to wear a burqa. Don’t fall for false and misleading claims.
