FACT CHECK
When the team at NewsMobile fact-checked the post, we found the claim to be FAKE.
While the picture is authentic, the guy in the picture is not Imran Khan but his actual name is Wali Ullah and he has graduated as an accountant from Accountancy & Information Systems at the University of Dhaka. Wali shared the picture on Facebook on October 4, 2018.
The caption read, ” My mother is the crown of my life, that’s why the convocation cap is for her. My father protected me from all harms throughout my life, that’s why the convocation gown suits best in the sweat-soaked body of my farmer father.”
In his caption, Wali claims that his father is a farmer and not a rickshaw puller as the viral posts claims. Ullah took to Facebook to clear the air. In his post, he states that his father is a farmer. ” I am ‘ Farmer’ Father’s child ” it said.
“My Father is not Riksa Chalak, he is a farmer in the village. I saw a little wrong information in different places, I felt what you need to know,” he explained in the post.
