A Hindi newspaper clipping is doing rounds over social media claiming that forced retirement of Indian Railway employees will begin soon.
The Facebook caption reads, “कांग्रेस की सरकार थी तो रेलवे में नौकरी मिलती थी, मोदी सरकार में रेलवे में जिसकी नौकरी है वो भी छीनी जा रही है. और वोट दो मोदी को.”
(English Translation: Under Congress government, there used to be jobs in railways. And now the current Government has taken away the jobs of the railway employees. Go ahead and vote for Modi.)

NewsMobile fact checked the above post and found it to be misleading.
On putting the newspaper clipping picture through Google Reverse Image Search, we found the same newspaper clipping on a study portal ‘Online Study Vidhyant’ dated August 11, 2019, with the headline read, “रेलवे मे जबरन रिटायरमेंट शुरु,स्टेशन मास्टर ने मनाया काला दिवस।”
On digging further, we also found that the same newspaper clipping was posted on Twitter by Vikas Singh on August 16, 2019.

Also, this clipping was found on Youtube and Ytube in 2019.
Hence, the above information proves that the newspaper clipping that has gone viral over social media is old and is being done with the primary aim to mislead people.
