Amid the raging controversy triggered by BJP leader Baijayant Jay Panda alluding to links between some Bollywood celebrities and anti-national elements based in Pakistan including the ISI, a picture post started doing rounds on social media about actor Salman Khan.
Of the two pictures featured in the post, in one of the pictures, he can be seen with a man who is allegedly the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim while in the other picture he can be seen waving a flag of Pakistan.

The text on the picture read: “Criminal Salman Khan with Pakistani ISI agent Dawood Ibrahim, Salman’s love for Pakistan is more than India. This is why me and every Indian hates Salman.”

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact checked the above post and found it to be misleading.
We cropped both the pictures and put them through Reverse Image Search separately. The results led us to several reports, suggesting that the man in the picture with Salman is NOT Dawood, but his brother Noora.

Other reports can be seen here, here and here.
When we looked for the second picture of Salman waving the Pakistani flag, we found the original picture on The Times of India, in which he was actually holding the Indian tricolour.

In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that the Indian flag was replaced with the Pakistani flag using photo editing software to create a false narrative.
Hence, with the above discoveries, we can conclude that the post in question is FALSE.
