The claims could have been spread after a study surfaced in China in an early-release article in peer-reviewed Emerging Infectious Diseases journal published by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States. An article about study published in the Hindustan Times on April 15, 2020 pointed that air conditioning may have spread the virus in 3 families through transmission of droplets.
When we searched for keywords related to this story, we came across a few news articles stating that there is no connection between ACs at home and the spread of Coronavirus such as the one below by Financial Express published on April 18, 2020.
